What the software does at the counter
- Search by name, salt or barcode. Type 'paracetamol' or scan the strip; the system shows every brand, batch, expiry and shelf location.
- Pick the right batch automatically. The batch expiring first is billed first, so older stock moves before it becomes a loss.
- Suggest substitutes. If a brand is out of stock, medicines with the same salt and strength are shown with their stock and margin.
- Bill strips or loose tablets. Sell full strips or individual tablets; stock is kept correctly either way.
- Remind repeat customers. Patients on monthly medicines get a WhatsApp reminder before their stock runs out.
