The hard parts founders underestimate
- Piracy. Paid videos get screen-recorded and shared on Telegram. DRM playback, watermarking with the student's phone number and device limits make piracy harder and traceable.
- Live class scale. A popular teacher can draw thousands of students into one live class. Use a managed streaming service rather than building your own video server.
- Test integrity. Timers, question shuffling and server-side scoring prevent the most common cheating. Results must hold up when students compare ranks.
- Maths and science content. Equations, diagrams and chemical structures must render correctly on every phone. Plan the question bank format early.
